**At this time the consulate is experiencing significant delays with the Evisa process. There have delays spanning weeks and this will be the case until the consulate’s third party service can acclimate to the volume of applications. 

$150.00 per person including the consulate fees for US citizens

How it works: The Brazilian visa for US citizens is an Evisa. We can apply in one of two ways. The first way is to make an appointment to come into our office with the information listed below and we will make the necessary preparations to apply for you. The second way is to save the documents below as PDFs and JPGs (the photo must be a JPG) and email them to us. You can email the documents to us at info@passportsvisasandmore.com. We will confirm any emails sent to us within one business day.

General Application Requirements:

  • Valid US Passport information page (signed, valid up to the end of Brazil trip, 2 visa pages free).
  • Fillable Application Form. PVM uses this version of the application to complete the online form for you.
  • Passport-style photo (2” x 2”, white background). If you come in person to our office we will do the photo for you at no additional cost.
  • Confirmation of flight reservation (showing entrance into and exit from Brazil).
  • Printed bank statement showing transactions for the last 30 days and showing at least US$ 2,000.00 for travel.
  • Business Travelers: In addition to the above requirements a business letter from the company here in the States or an invitation letter from the company in Brazil is required.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MINORS

  • In addition to the visa application requirements stated above, applicants who are younger than 18 years of age at the time of application must present the following additional materials:
  • Original birth certificate and one copy
  • Authorization for Issuance of Brazilian Visa for a Minor, signed by both parents
  • For children of Brazilian parent(s): Declaração de Não-Cidadania declaring that the applicant is not a Brazilian citizen (does not hold a Brazilian Birth Certificate), signed by Brazilian parent(s).
  • If only one parent is listed on the birth certificate, only that parent’s signature is required.
  • If one parent has sole custody of the applicant, a notarized copy of the court order awarding sole custody and exclusive parental rights must be presented.
  • If one parent is deceased, a death certificate must be presented.
  • Copy of passports or other form of photo ID for both parents.
  • Children must apply under tourist visas not business.
